News: This weekend: two main events!

1) On Saturday, Opening ceremony of the Minato Community center in Ishinomaki, supported by Nadia.
2) Support of Marathon on Sunday!

Dates:
Volunteering work time
– November 17 (Sat) 8:30 to 16:00
– November 18 (Sun) 8:30 to 14:00

Transportation:
– Nadia will arrange a bus to Ishinomaki if enough volunteers join
– You can also join the trip by other means of transportation

Accommodation:
– NADIA provides accommodation at the HQ Ishinomaki.(For PLAN 1 & 2 participants only)
– Style: Generally Japanese Style (futon mats are provided in shared rooms, but no futon cover, nor blanket, bring your own sleeping bag as well as futon sheets )

You may be asked to support local matsuri at Kadonowaki, Ishinomaki, or to participate to standard volunteer activity depending on local needs. Please bring the appropriate equipment (masks, gloves, boots, etc). Parents may join on Sunday with their children under 14 years old (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM). We recommend you to stay in local hotel (Please check plan 3 for more detail). The hotel in Ishinomaki may be crowded and so please book early.
