nadia is supporting the local children’s festival called Sanja Matsuri this year again. It is the 5th time we participate since the great Tohoku earthquake.
This is possible thanks to the donations and ticket sales from the memorial dinner earlier, this March.
We need your support and participation. Please join us on the weekend of July 9/10, departing from Shinjuku by overnight bus on Friday night of July 8.
Besides being part of the ceremony and carrying the mikoshi (portable shrine) through Ishinomaki streets, dressed in the local happi (traditional wear), we will prepare food and games for the kids and their parents. Preparation is on Saturday and the matsuri takes place on Sunday.
Bonus: Each participant of the festival will receive a nadia t-shirt. (limited availability, first-signed-up, first-served)
